The brass terminals can accommodate cables of CSA up to 25mm 2 , and the insulated busbars have been upgraded to 100A, thus enabling full use of the enhanced supply. The fully assembled and wired consumer units are available in 2-row 36-module, and 3-row 54-module versions, for convenient fitting of additional devices. Enhanced Vega Consumer Units The new Vega Enhanced Consumer Units are fitted with an 80A rated main isolator, and an 80A RCD, making these consumer units particularly suitable for use with enhanced 16kVa supplies. These enhanced consumer units fully comply with the IS EN 61439-3 standard for domestic consumer units, which will be a requirement of the new I.S.10101 wiring regulations from February 2021. The enhanced consumer units use the stylish new design Vega enclosures. The shade band, the silver handle, and the sloped face on the door, are some of the distinctive features of this new design.
