It can be connected to a conventional single- phase as well as three-phase power supply. (The three-phase solution significantly reduces the charging time.) Chargers also differ in the range of the charging current from 10 A to 32 A and include a 5-meter-long connection cable. One of the major obstacles to plug-in electric vehicle usage is the limited availability of public charging stations and the increased demand this makes on the utility network . A dedicated EV charger brings several key benefits: In addition to the new dedicated chargers, NOARK also offer a new line of charging cables. Designed to charge electric cars from single-phase and three-phase sockets and fit with either Type 1 or Type 2 plugs. All cables are equipped with Type B RCCB as standard which protects from residual DC leakage currents and high frequencies up to 1kHz, as outlined in the latest Irish standard. It also monitors the temperature of the switching elements, plugs and over and undervoltage.
