Slein has announced exciting changes in corporate structure at LED Group ROBUS. Christian Dijkstra, formerly Chief Financial Officer has moved to a new position as Head of Strategy. Christian joined the company in 2015 and has been a key figure in the successful development of the company. Christian’s move to take up this new challenge has created an opportunity for Robert Pickerill, his financial controller, to move into the CFO role. Robert will also join Christian on the main board of directors. The financial model of the business has been well established. Robert’s experience as part of this structure and over five years working closely with Christian on a day to day basis, means he is no stranger to the responsibility and challenge that he is taking on. A native of Wicklow and a Blackrock College student, Robert first attained a degree in marketing. Inspired by the financial element of this course he decided to focus on pursuing a career in finance. After completion of a post- grad degree in finance and accountancy, he joined PWC for a four year spell and gained excellent further training and experience in audit and asset management. Commenting on the plans for the group, Mick G. Slein, CEO said “With Robert as CFO and Christian as Head of Strategy we will complete our team by recruiting a new Commercial and Operations Director. We have also embarked on a Digital Transformation journey that will introduce new ways of doing business throughout the year.
