Our hearts say, 'lets do it' , we need a great night out. But our heads say, 'there is still a risk' and albeit that it is a lower risk now, it's not one we are comfortable taking. So, we have reluctantly decided to CANCEL our Winter Ball for 2021. We aim to be back in 2022. In the meantime, we are planning a full year of events for 2022: • Race Day, 6th February (book early as it always sells out quickly) • Golf Day, Lee Valley, Cork, April. • Golf Day, Killeen Castle, May. We are at the early stages of organising the rst IEBA Cycling event for April/May. If your company has an interest in entering a team, please contact a committee member or myself. https://irisheba.ie/why-ieba/#goto -board-of-directors We used the opportunity during 2021 to review and update our Constitution while also assessing our operations against the requirements of the Charities Governance Code. We are pleased to report that we are now totally compliant with the Charity regulator. During 2021, we supported 12 families and we would ask you to please let us know if aware of anyone that may need some help. Last December, I asked you for help and the response to my appeals letter was fan- tastic. The total amount raised was €52,000 and I say again, a Very Big Thank You to all who contributed.
