The high level of submissions for each category vindicates the decision to revive the awards, and it also augurs well for a gala industry occasion on Friday, 19 September, in Croke Park. “The interest level across all awards’ categories has been considerable,” says Mark Keogh, EIFI President, “and I want to thank each and every one of you who made a submission. It has presented the assessors with an enormous task and, in that respect, I also want to acknowledge the individual panel members for giving their time and expertise so generously. “In addition, a special word of thanks goes to our sponsors (see panel left), without whose support it would not have been possible to stage this event. “In the broader context, the revived EIFI Awards marks a significant turning point in the affairs of the EIFI. It clearly demonstrates the strength and togetherness of the Federation members, along with their commitment to delivering quality products, services and project solutions. The various submissions across all categories are positive proof that we, as an industry, can deliver that objective. “I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the Cusack and Ash Suite in Croke Park at th Awards’ lunch where RTÉ sports personality, Marty Morrissey (inset top), will host th occasion on our behalf.” ack & Ash Suite, Croke Park – Friday, 19 September 2025 ry Sponsor Partners CEF Golf Outing in Powerscourt Golf Club - Page 55 STIEBEL ELTRON Ireland Unveils hpnext - Page 33 25 5 Editorial. 7 Rointe sets a new standard in Electric Heating. 8 EIFI Electrical Industry Awards 2025. 11 OBO Bettermann: exclusively distributed by SOLUTIONS in Ireland and Northern Ireland. 13 Legrand Launches new fire tested pre-galvanised cable Ladder. 17 New ABB circuit breaker to make AI data centres and advanced manufacturing more resilient. 19 New from Midsummer, Huawei Fusionsolar shines as autumn approaches! 23 Register now to enter the Hager mediterranean cruise competition. 25 Rittal appoints new Country Manager to lead its Irish operations. 27 Phoenix Contact: new single-position Valvetrab SPP surge protection. 27 Caparoc circuit breaker system: new feed-in module with Modbus/TCP communication interface. 28 2nd of 3 articles on the Amendments to the National Rules for Electrical Installations. 33 STIEBEL ELTRON Ireland unveils hpnext. 33 E-Plan: What is automated engineering and why is it important? 37 Hager celebrates its 70 years of expertise in the electrification of buildings. 38 Ovia Ireland launches new, improved Evo Orb LED Bulkhead. 39 ESPi offers reliable fire detection with Espire Heat alarms. 41 Click Litehouse launches Red Block ‘ON’ Sockets for enhanced safety and inclusive design. 42 How Rittal's RiLineX busbar system transforms data centres. 45 Glamox: Balancing growth and sustainability in Ireland’s data hub. 47 Precision Cables: powering sustainable progress. 49 POWERCONNECT - an adaptable underfloor power solution from OE. 51 Schneider Electric to showcase latest innovations at Connect Dublin. 55 CEF's Annual Golf Outing 2025. 57 Save time and simplify installs with Grant’s integrated heating packages. 61 Join the Association of Electrical Contractors in Ireland (AECI). 66 Golf. 67 Appointments. 57 Contents 8 E I F I AWARDS 2025
