From the opening presentations through to the final exhibitor conversations, organisers described a “lovely buzz and atmosphere” throughout the venue, with electrical contractors engaging enthusiastically with suppliers, manufacturers and technical experts across the day. Feedback following the event was overwhelmingly positive, with both exhibitors and attendees praising the quality of the event this year. The event’s programme of presentations and technical talks once again proved an attraction, helping to set the tone for the day and ensuring strong attendance from the outset. Presentations were delivered by representatives from Safe Electric, ESB Networks, Schneider Electric and Paul Noonan of IEBA. There was strong audience engagement throughout the sessions. The opening of the main show featured remarks from Gearóid McKenna the new Executive Secretary of the AECI, Cel O’Reilly of IEBA, while Denise Tuffy, EIFI President along with Darren Kinsella, AECI President attended throughout the morning and met with exhibitors and contractors across the exhibition floor. It was particularly encouraging to see both long-standing industry members and many new faces in attendance, highlighting the continued strength and growth of the electrical contracting community in Ireland.
