The awards recognise participants who have completed modules from the EDA's structured training programme. Among this year's standout achievers were Cathy Keenaghan and Cian O'Hare of Eastern Electrical Mullingar, alongside Lauren Homan of EWL Cork, all of whom successfully completed the full suite of 12 training modules. Lifetime Achievement One of the afternoon's most significant moments came with the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Peadar Conlon of Mullingar Electrical. The award recognised his longstanding contribution to the electrical wholesale sector and his service to the AEW. Widely respected throughout the industry, Peadar's career has spanned almost five decades. The event concluded with a special tribute to Ken Legros, who is set to retire at the end of 2026. Mark McCluggage of CEF presented the award in recognition of Ken's years of dedication to the association and his contribution to the development of the electrical wholesale sector.
