There was ample opportunity to test drive the latest Electric Vehicles. Some of the most advanced products in EV Charging were on display. Many companies gave live demonstrations of installations of various types of wall and roof insulations. Also lighting experts were on hand to discuss how savings can be made. This year, with so much going on in the energy industry, new technologies, rule & regulation changes and grant availability, the seminars were extremly well attended. In the award section, we were ‒Ireland's leading business to business sustainable energy show returns to the RDS with an in person event. particularly pleased to see Mitsubishi Electric win the 'Best Energy Ef cient Product' for its Ecodan QAHV CO2 monobloc commercial heat pump. It is speci cally designed for commercial sanitary hot water applications, where gas boilers, combined heat and power systems (CHP) or electric water heating have traditionally been used. The CO2 QAHV provides a low carbon solution for hospitals, hotels, leisure centres and student accommodation. TaskLED won the 'Best Lighting Award' with its Cree Syrius street lighting product featuring Wavemax Technology that provides decreased LED source luminance. Rointe at the SEAI Show.
