The new locations, in Dockland, Limerick and Gorey Business Park, Co. Wexford, mark another significant milestone for the Rexel Ireland-owned wholesaler, which now operates 24 branches nationwide. The Limerick branch, located at Unit 2, Atlas Ave, Dockland, officially opened on 5 March and replaces Kellihers’ long-standing Dock Road premises, where the company had operated for the past 36 years. According to CEO Orla Rexel Ireland subsidiary continues nationwide growth strategy with two branch openings aimed at strengthening support for electrical contractors across the South and Mid-West. Matthews, the relocation represents a major investment in improving customer experience and operational capability in the region. “This new improved branch is an important step in our commitment to better serve Limerick city and the surrounding area,” Orla said. “With convenient access from the busy Dock Road, an extended product range and improved customer service, including a 24/7 out-of-hours order collection area, we are reinvesting in Limerick.” The branch offers an extensive portfolio of products and solutions, including energyefficient lighting, datacoms, cable management, EV charging, industrial automation, switchgear, tools, solar PV and fire and security systems. The official opening ceremony took place on place on 5 March, with the Lord Mayor of Limerick, John Moran, performing the ribbon-cutting.
