The branch is designed to strengthen support for contractors across Wexford and the wider South-East region. Orla Matthews described the new Gorey branch as “another important step” in the company’s wider expansion plans, highlighting the strategic location and broader product offering now available to local contractors. The Wexford branch will provide a similar range of electrical products and specialist solutions, covering lighting, heating and ventilation, cables and accessories, industrial control and automation, solar PV and EV charging infrastructure. Councillor Nicky Boland officially opened the branch during a launch event on Thursday May 14th. Both new branches will benefit from the wider Rexel Ireland distribution network, including support from the company’s 100,000 sq. ft national distribution centre in Baldonnell, Co. Dublin. Branch managers Paul Mitchell in Limerick, and Colin Earls in Gorey, said the openings underline Kellihers’ focus on local service and longterm customer relationships in regional markets.
